1. Ring a friend
Call that friend who’s always down and ask them to help.
2. Host a meeting
Invite your friends, family, and co-workers, provide some light snacks, and tell them what’s going on. Make a plan for action and follow up in a week.
3. Plan a canvas
Set up somewhere busy, like before/after a basketball game, downtown on a weekend afternoon, or in front of a Kroger. Talk to people about the issue and loop them into future meetings.
4. Call for a protest
Pick a date, time, and place and make a flyer. Send to friends, family, co-workers, and share on social media. Better yet, print out a bunch and bring them canvasing!
