Who are we?

No New ICE Jails in Georgia is an ad-hoc network of people opposed to ICE detention, anywhere and of anyone.

We are building a movement to stop the warehouses, get ICE out of Georgia, and ultimately, off all US streets.

You are invited to join the movement by acting, wherever you are, to stop ICE.

Solidarity Principles

  1. We are human-centered. We oppose the criminalization of immigration and the detention and deportation of immigrants of all genders, ages, and abilities: women and children, jobless queers and disabled elderly, domestic workers and day laborers, and everyone else.
  2. We are against ICE jails everywhere. This means we do not want new ICE jails in Social Circle, Oakwood, or anywhere else in GA, for private profits, political gain, or any other reason.
  3. We keep us safe! We do not cooperate with police’s request for information about the movement or fellow activists.
